DHS Getting It's Aerial Drones In Order

The US Department Of Homeland Security (DHS) is apparently getting pretty serious about the whole domestic drone program. Many drones are actually pretty big, certainly large enough to cause problems to other air traffic, and so DHS has a program called RAPS that they want drone makers to participate in so that everyone is on the same page regarding safety and navigation issues. No-one seems to be questioning the actual premise of monitoring Joe Public from aloft, but I suppose at least they are trying to keep the things from crashing into news helicopters or someones apartment building.
