Kim Dotcom is a big fellow at 6 foot 7 inches; he lives large, and spends lavishly on luxury items. He has also demonstrated he has some big brass ones. While currently fighting extradition from New Zealand to the US to face trial after an FBI investigation into his Megaupload web site led to charges, he launched a new site called "Mega".

Kim Dotcom first found fame in his native Germany back in the early 1990's as a larger-than-life Internet entrepreneur. He made quite a lot of money through various hacker-type endeavors and finally got into trouble for selling stolen phone calling card numbers, for which he received a suspended 2-year sentence becasue he was under age at the time.
He then got into more hot water after purchasing shares of the then nearly bankrupt Letsbuyit.com, causing it's stock value to rise. Mr. Doctom then cashed out his shares, making a considerable profit which led to charges of insider trading. He ended up with another suspended sentence and moved to Hong Kong in 2003 and later New Zealand.
Even his residency status in New Zealand had a whiff of controversy (having the appearance to some that he bought himself into the country), and the subsequent raid by local police on behalf of the FBI was muddied by the fact that he was a NZ resident at the time.
