Another Scammy Website Trick

Scammers are ingenious, if nothing else. When we visit a website, we usually do so by using a domain name like "www.google.com", ''www.yourbanksname.com", and so on.

What if scammers could come up with domain name that looked almost exactly like a legitimate site, but that actually went to their scammy site containing all kinds of malware goodies?

One apparently popular way to do this - especially since a lot of us surf on our small phone screens these days - is to fake a legitimate site name by using some hard-to-spot non-english language characters in the name.

Non-English alphabets (Spanish, German, French, etc) can contain accented characters such as á, é, í, ó, ú, ü, ñ, and other variations. Pretty easy to click on www.góógle.com instead of www.google.com, no?
